Volunteer Opportunities
Corporate Sponsors

Serve on the Booster Club Board
Our booster club is the parent run organization that provides all of the supplemental support for our lacrosse coaches and teams. The booster club board includes: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Ways & Means, Event Coordinator, Spirit Wear & Uniform Coordinator, Community Outreach Coordinator, Girls Coordinator, and Boys Coordinator. Time commitment: Varies with position.
Fundraising
Fundraising helps keep our parent donation amounts low! Help us with one or more fundraiser to keep our program strong. Dinner nights, Taste of LosAl ticket sales and setup crew, eTeamSponsorship, and Corporate Sponsors. Time commitment: 1-3 hours per fundraiser.
Social Media
Be our social media manager! Create and post on our Instagram page. Time commitment: 1 hour/week.
Taste of LOSAL Fundraiser
Organize ticket sales within our program. Distribute tickets to athletes, log team sales, and turn in payments. Time commitment: 2 hours/week in August & September.
Halloween Scramble
Work with our Event Coordinator to collect and distribute athlete treats & arrange ASB campus posters. Time commitment: 3-5 hours in October.
Team Parents
Each of our teams needs a team parent to coordinate 3-4 team pasta parties during the season and help organize parent volunteers to help with events and activities throughout the season. Time commitment: 1 hour/week November to May.
Make Parent Lanyards
Each of our teams need a volunteer to layout, print and assemble team lanyards for parents. Time commitment: 5 hours in December/January.
Distribute Uniforms
Work with the Boy/Girl Coordinators to check out and distribute assigned uniforms. Time commitment: 2-3 hours in January.
Senior Banners
Hang senior banners on the fence by the turf in January. Remove them in May and hang on banner holders at the end of season banquets. Time commitment: 1 hour in January and 2 hours in May.
Scorekeeper/Asst Stat Caller (Home and/or Away Games)
Every game, for each team, we need at least 2 parents to track the game stats. One parent will log the details on the stat sheet and the other parent will call out what needs logged. We will train you! This is a fun way to learn the game and be part of the sideline action. Time commitment: 1 to 1.5 hours per game February through April.
Take Photos at Games & Upload to TeamSnap (Home and/or Away Games)
Join the team on the sidelines to take photos of the game and sideline activity and upload photos to your team's TeamSnap site to share. Each team needs a parent to take photos for home and/or away games. Time commitment: 1-1.5 hours per game February through April.
Video Record Games & Upload to the program's YouTube (Home and/or Away Games)
Join the team on the sidelines or up in the stands to video the games. Bring your own camera or use the lacrosse team's camera/tripod. Team camera is easily controlled via phone app. Upload video the lacrosse program's YouTube page. Each team needs a parent to video for home and/or away games. Time commitment: 1-1.5 hours per game February through April.
Announcer for Home Games
Welcome visitors and parents to the game, play the Pledge of Allegiance, and announce goals during the game. Each team needs a parent announcer. Time commitment: 1-1.5 hours per game February through April.
Co-Host Team Pasta Parties
Each team will have 3-4 pasta parties during the season. Join 3-5 team families in hosting a pasta party. Parties can be hosted at a home, park or at the practice field following practice. Cook the food with your co-hosts or order take out pasta or pizza. Time commitment: 2 hours as a one time host between February to April.
Run Seal Beach Volunteers
Run Seal Beach makes a generous donation to our program each year. In exchange, our players volunteer for 3 hours the morning of the run. We also need a few parent volunteers to lead our athlete volunteers. Time Commitment: 3 hours one Saturday morning in March.
Make end of year video
At our end of year banquets, we show a highlight video for each team. Use video/photos collected from parents throughout the season to make a 3-5 minute highlight video. Each team will need a volunteer to make their team’s video. We also need volunteers to make the 2-3 minute senior highlight videos for the boys and girls teams. Time commitment: 2-3 hours per video in April.
Senior Nights
Help us celebrate our graduating athletes! We need volunteers for both the girls and boys senior nights. Senior nights are during a home game in April and will include a pregame introduction of our seniors and their families. Following the game we host a senior dinner for all Varsity players and Senior player’s families. Work with our Event Coordinator to setup pregame decorations and setup/hosting/cleanup of the postgame dinner on campus. Time commitment: 2-5 hours in April.
Shamrock Showdown
Shamrock Showdown is a fun community spirit game day with both our varsity teams having games. We need volunteers to coordinate with ASB for campus posters and game day decorations. Time commitment: 1-3 hours in March.
Alumni Game
Each November we host our Annual Matthew Fanelli Memorial Alumni Games with games that our Girls and Boys Varsity teams go against their former teammates. Following the games we host an on field lunch for our players and alumni. Help us coordinate the lunch event. Time commitment: 2-5 hours in November.

Help us strengthen our ongoing relationship with our alumni. Time commitment: Varies.
End of Season Banquets
This is our big event for the year when we celebrate our players and their academic and athletic achievements for the year! We need parent volunteers for both the boys banquet and girls banquet. Planning for the events is typically a joint endeavor, but setup and cleanup crews are needed for both the boys night and the girls night. Time commitment: Varies, but we need a lot of volunteers to make this night a success! Planning begins in late March/early April and goes through the events in mid-May.
